A satirical movement with a courtroom origin, an anonymous student founder and 20 million followers is, in industry terms, an obvious streaming pitch. Film Companion reports that at least three production houses have made informal approaches about a CJP-inspired series — and immediately hit a wall that no legal team has solved: the movement has no registered entity, no rights holder and no single author. Its founder has never monetised it and reportedly wants no part of a dramatisation. The result is a story everyone wants and nobody can option, which industry lawyers say may be the most interesting IP question in Indian streaming right now.
