What we collect

• Name (required) — printed on your satirical member card and shown publicly on shared cards / the leaderboard.
• Optional: email address and WhatsApp number — only if you choose to provide them, for occasional party-themed updates.
• Optional: a profile photo you upload — stored on our server and shown only on your card.
• Optional: your "grievance" text and any referral code.
• Technical & usage data — IP address, device/browser info, and anonymised analytics events used to keep the site running and measure reach.

Why we use it (purpose)

• To generate and display your member card and AI manifesto.
• To power the public leaderboard, referrals and sharing features.
• To send optional updates (only if you gave us contact details).
• To prevent abuse/spam and to operate, secure and improve the site.

Consent & your control

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the join form. You may withdraw consent and ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@cockroachparty.live. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

Public display — please don't over-share

This is a public, shareable, satirical site. Your name, rank, grievance, photo and member card may be displayed publicly and shared by you or others. Do NOT submit sensitive personal information, anyone else's private details, or anything you would not want shown publicly.

Who we share data with (processors)

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers strictly to run the site:

• AI text provider (OpenAI) — your name/grievance may be sent to generate your manifesto.
• Payment provider (Razorpay) — for premium purchases; payment/card details are handled by Razorpay, not stored by us.
• Hosting and analytics providers — to serve the site and understand aggregate usage.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your member entry exists or as needed for the purposes above and legal compliance. Email support@cockroachparty.live to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

Children

This site is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies & analytics

We use minimal cookies/local storage and privacy-respecting analytics to operate the site and measure reach. You can control cookies via your browser settings.
