Kota's 2 Lakh NEET and JEE Students Are Joining CJP. Their Coaches Don't Know What to Do.

Kota's coaching institutes have produced India's most high-pressure academic culture for three decades. Now the students living in its hostels — studying 14 hours a day for exams that will decide their futures — are putting CJP cards on their notice boards beside their study timetables. News18 visits Kota and finds students who say the Cockroach Janta Party's manifesto resonates more than any career counsellor ever has: it names their pressure, validates their exhaustion, and asks for nothing in return except that they survive — which is, the party says, exactly what cockroaches do.
